Dupes for Mac Artifact Paint Pot, Review and Comparison

Hello everyone, I’m so excited to share with you some dupes for one of my favorite paint pots that is discontinued now.

MAC - Paint Pot in Artifact ($20):  It is a rich velvety mahogany red with coppery red reflects. Is not a "reddish brown" color at all, It provides a gorgeous base for Star Violet, Cranberry, and it turns Coppering into foiled metallic copper beauty.
Maybelline Color Tattoo – Pomegrate Punk ($6.99): is a warm cranberry/burgundy with a smidge of plum and subtle shimmer to keep it from falling flat. This makes a great base for bronzes, deep plums, burgundy, it's surprisingly versatile.
Sigma – Eye Shadow Base – Strike ($13): is a warm and unique Burgundy color with shimmery finish, nicely pigmented, very creamy and it has a thicker consistency than the Maybelline color tattoo, but very similar than the Mac Paint Pot.
Comparison: The formulation is the obvious similarity, they are all long wearing, highly pigmented, creamy, with a shimmery finish, all of the products can be worn on their own or as primer/base to keep eye shadow in place, and they are all packaged in glass pots with black lids.
Now, all though they are very similar they are completely different,  Maybelline color tattoos are cream pigments , while the Mac Paint Pots and Sigma are cream bases,  however as I said before they can be used the same way and for the same purpose, I guess the only thing to consider is the price.

Take a peek at my can't-live-without essentials The Porefessional & the Porefessional agent zero shine

Their function is to quickly minimize the appearance of enlarged pores, the texture is light, so whipped, and silky, the oil-free formula feels great on my face, and the smell is great, I love its slightly tinted color complements all skin tones and helps makeup stay put. Contains a Vitamin E derivative, known to protect skin from free radicals.
You can use this as a primer apply pm clean, lightly moisturized skin and you can also retouch if and when pores reappear, pat delicately on T-zone over makeup & blend. The lightweight, oil-free formula means a beautifully refined complexion. I highly recommend it.
